On May 22, 2026, Yanshan Technology's mass production line was officially commissioned, marking the world's first 8-inch silicon-based GaN MicroLED chip mass production line from epitaxy to advanced packaging. With this milestone, Yanshan Technology has officially transitioned from the technology verification phase to mass production, achieving full-chain IDM mass production capabilities from materials to devices.
The commissioning ceremony was held at the Deqing factory, hosted by Factory Manager Zhong of Yanyu Semiconductor. Zhu Qi, member of the High-tech Zone Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee, Chen Jiawei, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of Deqing County and Executive Deputy Director of the County Talent Office, and Ma Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Leidian Town Party Committee and Mayor, attended the ceremony. Representatives from investors including Shenzhen Capital Group, Haiwang Capital, Gopher Asset, Dongfang Jiafu, Lenovo Capital, and Ivy Capital were present to witness this important moment.
